Since 1549, The Ship has woven itself into the fabric of Holborn’s rich history. For the past 23 years, the Evans family and our dedicated team have proudly steered the course, returning to the essence of what makes a great British pub truly special – serving quality home-cooked British pub fare sourced from local markets, complemented by quaffable real ales, and drinks offering.

The main bar, featuring charming stripped oak floors and snug booths, offers an ideal setting to unwind after work, enjoying a pint or cocktail with great company.
With six ‘Cask Marque’ certified real ales, including two rotating weekly, and a selection of global lagers, gins, as well as an extensive wine list curated in collaboration with Ellis wines, there’s something to suit every taste.
Throughout the day, our bar menu complements our regular offerings, featuring classic British counter snacks like pork pies, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, pickled eggs and onions, and of course, cockles & mussels.
